Refunds & Returns

At Youth Led Services, we want clients, participants, and customers to clearly understand when refunds, credits, replacements, or other remedies may apply. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in this policy limits your legal rights. Where goods or services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to an appropriate remedy depending on the circumstances.

1. Workshops and Events

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • change of mind;

  • failure to attend;

  • personal scheduling conflicts;

  • dissatisfaction based on personal preference.
     

Where sufficient notice is provided before the workshop or event, we may, at our discretion, offer a transfer, credit, or rescheduled booking. If we cancel a workshop, event, or service and do not offer a suitable replacement, rescheduled date, or alternative remedy, you may be entitled to a refund or credit. If a workshop or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with Australian law.
 

2. Online Workshops and Training

Refunds are not generally available because:

  • you did not attend the live session;

  • you no longer require the training;

  • you changed your mind after purchase;

  • you experienced issues with your own internet, device, or software.
     

However, if the online workshop, training, or service is not supplied as described, is not provided with due care and skill, or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy.
 

3. Digital Downloads, Templates and Resources

All sales of digital products, including templates, guides, policies, procedures, workbooks, forms, and downloadable resources, are final for change of mind, accidental purchase, or failure to use the product. Refunds, replacements, or other remedies will only be provided where required by law, including where a digital product is faulty, defective, not as described, or fails to function as represented.
 

4. Physical Products

If we sell physical resources, kits, printed materials, or similar products, we do not provide refunds for change of mind.

Where a physical product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, not fit for purpose, or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
 

5. Referral-Related Fees or Intake Services

Where referral-related, intake-related, or administrative services are offered for a fee, those fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, unless required otherwise by law. Submitting a referral or enquiry does not guarantee acceptance into any service, workshop, or program.
 

6. How to Request a Remedy

To request a refund, replacement, credit, or other remedy, please contact us at admin@youthledservices.com.au with:

  • your full name;

  • booking or order details;

  • a description of the issue;

  • any supporting documents, screenshots, or photos where relevant.
     

We may request additional information before assessing your request.
 

Any approved refund will generally be processed using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Youth-Led Services acknowledges the traditional First Nations people of this country. We pay respects to the Traditional Owners of all the lands we travel through. We hold heart for the injustices to Country through invasion and understand that the trauma is embedded into the depth of the spirits. We also acknowledge the resilience and strength of First Nation peoples show true warrior spirit. 

First Nations people have worked and walked in two worlds successful for centuries, and have been able to maintain cultural practices through cultural genocide and provide support and leaning for our non-Indigenous peoples in Australia. We extend our acknowledgement to First Peoples around the world, holding space in our hearts for the injustices of invasion that have been experienced by many of our Indigenous brothers and sisters. 

We have heart, spirit and ancestors that guide us through our journey, we will walk this path remembering the footprints before us and creating space for the ones that will walk after us.
